In today’s housing affordability crisis, the only property we’re likely to own is in on a Monopoly board.
So now, the creators of Monopoly have made it a whole lot easier to fulfil our property-owning dreams (hello Mayfair and Park Lane) by introducing a new version of the famous board game.
Hasbro’s ‘Cheaters Edition’ of the game has made cheating a part of the rules, encouraging players to sneak out of jail and steal money from the bank.
“So in 2018, we decided it was time to give fans what they’ve been craving all along — a Monopoly game that actually encourages cheating,” Hasbro’s Senior Vice President Jonathan Berkowitz told Insider.”
“We’ve finally decided to embrace our less-than-honest fans by encouraging them to partake in those iconic Monopoly moments that occur during family game nights.”
So who’s up for a good ol’ fashion board game night? We promise to play by the rules…
