Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek has officially been cast in the latest James Bond film starring Daniel Craig, alongside a star-studded cast including Ralph Fiennes and Lea Seydoux.
The 37-year-old actor, who won the Oscar for his performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, said in a video message: “I promise you all I will be making sure Mr Bond does not have an easy ride in this”.

Daniel Craig will reprise the role of James Bond for the final time, making the actor the longest running 007 in history.
Who will play the Bond Girl?
Blade Runner 2049 star Ana De Armas will also be appearing alongside Daniel Craig as a Bond girl. Lashana Lynch has been cast as the second Bond girl, after impressing audiences as Captain Marvel’s best friend, tough fighter pilot Maria Rambeau.
What is the plot?
According to International Movie Database, the plot to Bond 25, which is currently filming, is unknown. The official Twitter account for the film is slowly releasing information to keep fans in anticipation of the film’s release in April 2020.
