The folks at Washington Post Express are probably feeling *pretty* embarrassed right now.
They made a big mistake on the front cover of their newspaper that the public is finding it very hard to overlook.

Their cover story was about a women’s rights march that is set to take place in Washington DC the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration. 150,000 women are expected to attend the march, so it’s a pretty big story.
The only problem? Washington Post Express mistakenly used the male symbol for the holding image.
They tweeted out the cover, captioned “Today’s cover: The Women’s March in Washington started on Facebook. Now it’s expected to be the largest rally linked to the inauguration.
Naturally, the Internet jumped to correct them, sharing their takes on it.
The newspaper responded with a statement about the mistake, writing “We made a big mistake on our cover illustration this morning and we’re very embarrassed about it. We erroneously used a male symbol instead of a female symbol. This is how the cover should have looked. We apologize for the mistake.”
We’re still not quite sure how this happened. But it’s probably a great example of why Washington needs a women’s march in the first place.
