The reason why?

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the passenger had fought with other passengers during the Delta Air Lines flight from Seattle to Beijing. 23-year-old Joseph Hudek had even attempted to open the plane’s exit door.

A fast-thinking air steward smashed two bottles of wine over Mr Hudek’s head breaking at least one of them, The Independent repots.

During the flight, Mr Hudek allegedly punched a flight attendant twice in the face and struck a passenger in the head with a dessert wine bottle.

The Florida man has been charged with interfering with a flight crew.

“Hudek did not seem impacted by the breaking of a full litre red wine bottle over his head, and instead shouted, ‘Do you know who I am?’,” FBI special agent Caryn Highley wrote in a probable cause statement.
