Princess Diana And Kate Middleton’s Favourite Sneakers Just Got A Sustainable Upgrade

The environmentally-friendly classics just dropped

For decades, the Superga classic trainer has been a go-to for royal women, with everyone from Princess Diana to Kate Middleton turning to the renowned sneaker label for their laid back attire. Now the Italian footwear label has reimagined its signature models for the first time in its history, giving the collection an environmentally conscious makeover.

Entering the sustainable arena, the Organic Collection is a natural evolution of a brand that has continually aimed to use natural and recyclable resources, keeping every detail of the reimagined trainer the same as the much-loved original.

The newly launched styles rethink the label’s classics, reenvisioning them with an upper made from 60 per cent organic cotton and 40 per cent natural hemp, held together with 100 per cent organic thread. The soles are made of 50 per cent recycled rubber with insoles made of natural cork.

On top of the organic materials, every piece made in this new collection also uses products sourced from local suppliers, as well as using methods that have a low impact on the environment.

No doubt we’ll be seeing Kate rock these in the future.
