Lara Worthington (nee Bingle) hit the red carpet with husband Sam Worthington in tow last night – and her dazzling outfit managed to distract us from her arm candy.
Worthington wore a shimmering metallic Altuzarra dress with subtle peplum-style pleating for the premiere of Manhunt: Unabomber in New York, but it was her shoes that did the talking. Instead of wearing that red carpet regular, the strappy black heel, Worthington dared to be different in a pair of ankle boots.
It’s rare to see boots of any variety on the red carpet (one notable mention does go to Selena Gomez, who wore Louis Vuitton-style Doc Martens to the Met Gala last year), but Worthington’s were no ordinary design: she wore floral-patterned, quilted-effect Altuzzara ‘Black Elliot’ boots with a stiletto heel.
