There were five key trends that dominated the A-list beauty look at this year’s Met Gala. Which one will you try out at home?
Pinot pouts: Berry lipstick was hands down the biggest trend of the night. Rachel McAdams was a winner on the night with this dark, gothic shade.
Hair dressing:Hair accessories are a key trend next season, and headbands and barrettes showed up on a few attendees. Our favourite: Olivia Wilde’s sleek ponytail cuff and Kate Bosworth’s jewel-encrusted crown.
Supernatural skin: An otherworldly, luminous complexion ala Margot Robbie, played the starring role in these beauty looks.
Up in smoke: Lots of charcoal eyeshadow made for seriously smoky – and sexy – eyes.
Do the twist: Braids and ropy twists added a youthful feel to the half-up and pony styles (we love Alicia Vikander’s mussed-up tail!)
