Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have confirmed they’ll be spending Christmas in the US with Meghan’s mum, Doria Ragland, likely to take a much needed break from royal life and the British tabloid media. In a statement, the palace confirmed that the family of three is extending their stay from Thanksgiving all the way through to Christmas, saying that the decision is “in line with precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen.”

To mark Prince Charles’ 71st birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to share an adorable previously unseen photo of baby Archie. The snap was taken at Archie’s christening ceremony in July and shows Prince Harry holding Archie as Prince Charles looks on proudly.
“Happy birthday to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales – Sir, Pa, Grandpa! ?” the post was captioned.
Kate Middleton and Prince William also shared their own tribute to Charles, which included a new photo of Prince Louis. Keeping things professional, they wrote: “Wishing a very happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!”
Happy birthday, Charles! But more importantly, more baby photos please.
