Yesterday, we heard about Kate Middleton and Prince William’s reaction to a radio host making a joke about Princess Charlotte’s first day of school and now Camila Cabello has revealed she stole from Kensington Palace when she was invited there recently.
Greg James, the same BBC Radio 1 host who was confronted by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, interviewed Cabello, revealing that when they were at the palace together he dared the singer to steal a pencil. “I said, ‘Steal that pencil,'” James said.
Cabello replied, “And I was like, ‘You triple-doggy dare me?”
“And you can’t not do a triple-doggy dare. If there’s anything I’ve learned in my life, it’s that. So I did it,” she said, before revealing that James gave her crime away to palace staff. “And then,” she said, “You, to one of the palace people, called me out on it, and were like, ‘She stole a pencil!’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my God.'”
“And I put it in my mum’s purse, and my mum was like, ‘No, we have to give it back. We have to give back the pencil.'”
Cabello, however, was determined to complete the dare and told her mum she had to keep the pencil. Admitting her culpability, she said on air, “So, I’m sorry. I still have it. I’m sorry, William, and I’m sorry, Kate.”
The best part? The royals responded to her admission of guilt with a simple ‘?’ emoji.
