Praise be! Elisabeth Moss, star of The Handmaid’s Tale, has spilled on the second season of the hit TV show and it’s sounding darker and more incredible than we could ever imagine.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Moss revealed that dystopian drama would be pushing even more boundaries in its sophomore season.
‘Well, I’ve read the outline for the first episode, and it is fucking ridiculous,’ she said.
“It’s insane! I can say this: There is literally no way that anyone can guess what happens. You can try, but you won’t do it. It’s incredible. We’re really looking to blow people away, and we have every intention to break [the story] open and go even further in all directions.”

She added: “We have no intention of doing anything else than being even more balls to the wall than we were in Season 1.”
The 10-part dystopian drama, based on Margaret Atwood’s iconic 1985 novel, is unmissable viewing. The series follows the tribulations of Offred (Elisabeth Moss), who is forced to live as a concubine—called a Handmaid—under the fundamentalist Christian government. It’s a lot more fun than it sounds—we promise.
