He may be trying to work things out with TV bride Beck Zemek, but it seems Married At First Sight groom Jake Edwards has already moved on.
After being spotted on a date together just last week, Gold Coast fitness influencer and nutritionist Sophie Guidolin has all but confirmed she’s dating the footballer turned reality star, as first reported by So Dramatic!
“Sophie seems to have confirmed their romance, sharing an image on Instagram holding Jake’s very identifiable tattooed arm and also revealing to her fans that she is ‘taken!’,” the gossip podcast wrote alongside the images in question.
Jake, who is based in Melbourne, also flew to Noosa, Queensland, on Monday to celebrate his new girlfriend’s birthday, Daily Mail adds, appearing in a video on Sophie’s Instagram captioned “Birthday swims.”
The pair’s openness on social media has fans guessing Jake and Beck don’t make it past Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.
The 33-year-old charity CEO’s new relationship follows his ex-fiancé, Paige McCuskey, slamming the MAFS groom claiming he cheated on her.
According to Edwards’ bio, he broke off his engagement with Paige in late 2019 when he “realised he didn’t love her anymore”, but the Melbourne photographer called him out by taking to Instagram and editing the captions of several photos of the pair throughout their relationship.
Paige’s account is set to private but Daily Mail reported that in a post of the pair kissing from August 2017, the caption had been changed from “LOVE” to “Edit: deceit”.
In another photo of the couple snorkelling, McCuskey also edited the post, writing “Should (have) held him under the water.”
