The Four Seasons may be the most surprisingly delightful show to hit Netflix since Nobody Wants This. A big call, we know, but we said what we said. And now, we’re demanding a season two.
If you didn’t spend the weekend binge watching, let us give you the TLDR breakdown. The show, which comes from the comedic genius of Tina Fey and 30 Rock writer-producers Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, centres on a friendship group consisting of three couples in their 50s.
Following the friends through the four seasons of the year across four different holidays, we’re taken on the journey of what should be mundane middle-age mediocrity only to discover it’s anything but. There’s all the tropes you’d expect from a show about couple’s in that mid-life crisis era; affairs, parenting and keeping the spark alive. But, it’s the hilarious yet relatable writing and sharp twists had us hooked.
Having burned through the first, we’re already asking when a season two of The Four Seasons could be gracing our screens. Scroll on for everything we know so far.

Will There Be A Season 2 Of The Four Seasons?
The Four Seasons was originally created as a limited series, but that doesn’t mean all hope is lost. The show jumped to the #1 spot on the streaming site’s most-watched list almost overnight, proving audiences would (and do) want more.
Netflix is yet to confirm the possibility of a season two, but it wouldn’t be the first time a limited series ended up with a surprise second season. After all, there’s still that major finale plot twist to unpack…
What Would Be The Plot Of The Four Seasons Season 2?
Warning: spoilers ahead…
For a limited series, The Four Seasons’ season one finale sure did leave a lot on the table. Following the tragic death of Nick (Steve Carrell) we learn in the final moments of the show that his girlfriend Ginny (Erika Henningsen) is pregnant with his child. It’s a huge diversion from the plot of the original film and certainly opens the door for a potential second season.
We’d love to see Ginny lean on the friendship group as she navigates motherhood, grief and a strange new family dynamic with his ex-wife, Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver).
Show co-creator Lang Fisher revealed to TV Line the team were open to a second season.
“We would love to write a Season 2, if they want one,” they said.
“We do know that we would bring the core cast back.It wouldn’t be, like, an anthology. We would keep our group because I think that’s what makes the show so great, this particular group. You’d know there would be four trips” and “still the same four seasons.”
Beyond that, the possibilities are endless.
