Wonder Woman was released in cinemas over the weekend, bringing in a record-breaking $223 million worldwide.
With credit going to director Patty Jenkins and fierce leading lady Gal Gadot for the film’s extraordinary success, Wonder Woman has been hailed as one of the best superhero films ever created.
But, of course, some keyboard warriors have taken to Twitter and Facebook to denounce the film’s achievements, mostly with a disgustingly sexist approach – especially with reference to some cinemas in the U.S.A offering female-only screenings (a brilliant marketing move if ever we saw one!)
