Kate Hudson and her musician boyfriend Danny Fujikawa have revealed they are expecting their first child together, a girl.
Taking to Instagram, the actress, who is already a mum to two boys, not only revealed the pregnancy but shared the moment she found out she was expecting a girl.
“If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick! It was the most sick first trimester of all my children,” she wrote.
“If you’ve seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing…I was lying,” she added. “BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap.
“We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way ?”.
Kate has been dating musician Fujikawa in December 2016 however the pair have known each other for much longer.
“We’ve known each other for 15 years. He’s my best friend’s stepbrother,” she told The Talk. “We kinda skipped through the part of knowing what the hiccups were. You kinda skip the part of going, ‘Oh, you’re like that?’”
“In terms of family, I’ve known his family forever,” she added. “To have that connection is really powerful.”
The actress is also mum to 14-year-old son Ryder with ex Chris Robinson and six-year-old son Bingham with ex Matt Bellamy.
