Chilling details continue to emerge surrounding the horrific rape and murder of teacher Stephanie Scott.
The court has heard how Vincent Stanford’s twin brother Marcus, who was also charged with being an accessory to the murder, was sent Scott’s engagement rings in the mail and sold them at a pawn shop.
Recordings, from when Marcus was in Sydney’s Silverwater Jail, heard the pair discussing Scott’s engagement ring.

“So what did you do with the stuff that I sent you?” Vincent asked his brother, according to News Corp.
“Exactly what you told me to do,” Marcus answered. Vincent had allegedly told him to take the rings to a pawn shop in Adelaide.
“Did you get a fair bit for it?” Vincent asked.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Marcus said.

The pawn shop confirmed they bought the two rings from Stanford for $705.
“The offender’s motivation was, to use his term, misguided loyalty to his brother,” Justice Robert Hulme told the court during the sentencing hearing.
“It was the act of a man who put morality and human decency secondary to the interests of his murderous brother. I am satisfied he must have known that the two rings had been stolen — in the context of the murder of a woman who was much loved by her family and in her community — and who was looking forward to her impending marriage to the man she loved.”
Marcus was sentenced to 15 months in jail without parole, which means with time served he will be released on September 9.
