Everyone Is Convinced Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Having Twins

This is why

The royal family hasnโ€™t revealed much about Prince Harry and Meghan Markleโ€™s first child, apart from that the royal baby is due sometime in โ€˜spring 2019โ€™ โ€“ our autumn. We donโ€™t know the childโ€™s gender, any name options (apart from a few Prince Charles joked about) or, in a new twist of events, whether thereโ€™s one baby or two.

The Mail Online reports that a popular betting site, Paddy Power, has received so many bets that the royal couple are having twins, theyโ€™ve stopped allowing any more to be placed.

Due to the surprising influx of bets, the company thinks a source with inside knowledge of Harry and Meghanโ€™s pregnancy may have been the first to place money on the pair having twins.

โ€œWe had to suspend betting. We saw an almost identical pattern of betting before the announcements of the coupleโ€™s engagement and pregnancy,โ€ a spokesman for the Irish betting company said.

โ€œSince the day began, the stream of bets has led us to believe that perhaps the punters โ€“ or an insider source โ€“ knows something more than we do.โ€

So many bets were placed on Friday night, itโ€™s reported the odds were slashed from 5/1 to odds-on.

However, sadly, we wouldnโ€™t put too much thought into royal twins, as the official announcement about Meghan Markleโ€™s pregnancy said the couple were โ€œvery pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.โ€

baby, not babies.

But hey, we wouldnโ€™t be mad if both Harry and Meghan were carrying a newborn out of the Lindo Wing next year.
