Modest hand-holding is usually all we see from British royal couples, but Prince Harry and his Suits star girlfriend, Meghan Markle, broke all the PDA rules with their loved-up show on the weekend.
The pair made their first public appearance at an exclusive Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot, England, on May 6.
Markle—in a sleeveless Antonia Berardi dress—cheered on from the sidelines while Prince Harry played polo in support of his charities, Sentebale and WellChild.
The pair returned to Ascot the following day and were snapped sharing a kiss and embrace after Harry left the field, People reports.
Grainy photographs show the couple kissing between two cars after the match.
The public display of affection was far less awkward than the infamous ‘snubbed kiss’ between Prince Charles and Princess Diana at a polo match in Jaipur, India, in 1992.
Eddie Redmayne—who attended Eton College with Prince William—also competed on day one of the event, while William saddled-up for the match on day two.
Prince Harry and Markle confirmed their relationship to the media in November, 2016, with an official statement from the Communications Secretary.
“Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her,” the statement said. “It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm.”
Later this month the pair is expected to attend Pippa Middleton’s highly-anticipated wedding to financier and racing driver James Matthews.
