Police are on the hunt for two teenagers who stole a three-day-old baby girl from Nepean Hospital in Kingswood in the early hours of this morning.
15-year-old Jenifer Morisson and 14-year-old Jayden Lavender ran off with their newborn on foot at around 12:30am.
In a media release, police describe the girl, Jenifer, as of “Caucasian appearance with long brown hair.” Jayden is also of Caucasian appearance, with brown eyes, and short brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black and white hooded jumper, while Jenifer was last seen in a white hooded jumper, grey tracksuit pants and ‘Ugg’ boots.
Police also believe a man wearing a black ‘Everlast’ jumper will be with the children, however his identity and relationship to the pair is unknown.
They are urging anyone who has leads or information to come forward, as there are concerns for the safety of all three children.
