An Ohio mother has been imprisoned for 51 years after a judge described her crime as “by far the worst thing that has come before this court”.
April Corcoran, 32, pleaded guilty to raising money for to feed her heroin addiction by loaning her 11-year-old daughter to a drug dealer who then raped and sodomised her.
She was found guilty of trafficking a person, complicity in rape, corrupting another person with drugs and endangering children, according to The Washington Post.

The court heard that because the 40-year-old alleged drug dealer, Shandell Willingham, preferred young children, Corcoran dressed her daughter up to look even younger.
“You showed no kind of mercy,” the judge told her, according to the Enquirer. ” …. I don’t know that you grasp the damage that has been done to this poor child.”

Horrifyingly, Cororan would give her daughter heroin after the assaults as a “reward”. The girl vomited each time.
The young girl is now 13 and living with her father and stepmother. She has had suicidal thoughts and is undergoing medical care.
Her grandmother told the court she was horrified, according to The Daily Mail. “How could she (Corcoran) do this? I don’t know if my granddaughter is going to be able to have a normal life.”
The authorities learned of the case in June 2014, when the girl moved in with her father, who reported it.
Corcoran’s lawyer James Bogen told a local newspaper that before being hooked on heroin “she was a very loving and attentive parent.”
