A British man’s list of holiday guidelines for his (now ex) girlfriend has gone viral after a mutual friend tweeted it to the world.
His 18-year-old girlfriend was about to embark on a girls’ trip to Magaluf, Spain, when she was given the list, which starts with ‘no talking to boys’ and ends with ‘if your girls have boys back leave the room and Facetime me.’
It also forbids drug use, with the warning, “I will drug test you when you get back.”
The post has already been retweeted over 1800 times and has received over 9000 likes since it was tweeted on July 25.
A shock twist has also emerged in this viral dating saga – it turns out the list-writing boyfriend actually cheated while his girlfriend was away.
The girlfriend, known only as Lucy, has told UNILAD, “We were seeing each other for about 5/6 months then stopped due to him sleeping with other girls while seeing me.”
“Then we were going to try again because he told me he was in love with me – he made the rules for us to both stick to while on holiday.”
“I stuck to them and he slept with four girls in a week.”
Josh has also spoken to UNILAD, saying that the list wasn’t “actually meant to be taken seriously,” – but also “wasn’t fully sent as a joke.”
Is this really the state of young love in 2017?
