‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ On Hold “Indefinitely”

The famous family react to Kim’s robbery in a very serious way

Last Sunday, Kim Kardashian West was reportedly held at gunpoint before being tied up, gagged and robbed of an estimated $14million in jewellery. The star was understandably shaken by the horrible event, and the entire family has gathered around to support her.

One thing the famous family has been forced to consider since the attack is the impact that documenting their lives so publicly has on their safety.

“Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now, a spokesperson for E! tells Variety.

According to Us Weekly, Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been placed on hold “indefinitely” following last week’s attack, with Kim wanting to stay home with her family.

“She has canceled everything for the next several weeks and will not be working,” a source told the publication. “She feels safer in L.A. and wants to be home with her family.”

The attack has left the entire family questioning their use of social media, too. “Flaunting” your wealth (as some have put it) does NOT mean you deserve to be targeted, but sharing your location across multiple social media platforms can make it easier for those who do want to attack. The Kardashian’s are taking this very seriously.

The family have taken a small break from posting on their social channels, and are reportedly going to change their entire approach to Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter.
