There were emotionally charged, violent scenes outside a New South Wales courtroom after two men fronted charges over the death of mother of seven, Lynette Daley.
Ms Daley died on Australia Day 2011, after bleeding to death from horrific internal injuries allegedly caused by a violent sex act.
Adrian Attwater and Paul Maris yesterday appeared in court over Ms Daley’s death.
However, as they left yesterday, they were surrounded by about 50 of Ms Daley’s distraught and angry friends and family, who shouted “hang you dog” and hit Mr Attwater.

The incident was the latest chapter in a case that has caused controversy.
Although the case was originally referred to the Director of Public Prosecution, no charges were laid. Then, in May Four Corners produced a documentary on Ms Daley’s death, and a petition was launched, calling for the DPP to review the case.
More than 70,000 people signed the petition and the case was duly reviewed. Yesterday Attwater was charged with manslaughter and Maris with being an accessory after the fact to manslaughter.
