The Sunrise presenter told The Daily Telegraph that for their wedding, she wants to keep things simple.

“My only prerequisite is that we have sausage rolls and pies and ham rolls at the end of the night,” she said.

“I am dead serious, I love sausage rolls and I hate it when you go to weddings and it is all fancy food and you can’t actually eat anything!”

She announced her engagement a week ago, sharing the story on Instagram.

“On this day, two wonderful weeks ago, the love of my life @neilwrites asked me to be his wife,” she wrote. “And I said… umm…. ahh… let me have a think… just kidding… YES. We are over the moon xx.”

She told Confidential for The Daily Telegraph that while she was over the moon about the engagement, the ring wasn’t quite what she was expecting.

“I chose one (a ring) that was a lot smaller and then he quite literally accidentally got the one that was a lot bigger,” she said.

“We actually went to the store and I tried to make him take it back, and they don’t take refunds.

“So I’m stuck with this rather large, amazingly gorgeous, gigantic diamond ring,” she laughed.
