Chrissy Teigen has taken to Twitter to express her outrage about Zane Alchin, an Australian man who threatened a young woman on Facebook.

Zane Alchin was charged with one count of using a carrier service to menace, threaten or offend, and sentenced to a 12-month good behaviour bond. He avoided a three year jail sentence for his crime against 24-year-old Paloma Brierley Newton.
After hearing about the case, Chrissy Teigen suggested that she start a ‘troll farm’.
She expressed her disgust at Zane Alchin’s case, and particularly his defence.
Alchin left more than 50 comments after Chris Hall posted a screenshot of a Sydney woman’s Tinder profile, which she had captioned “Type of girl who will suck you dry and then eat some lunch with you”, after the Drake lyrics.
It was later revealed in court that he was drunk at the time, and that he wasn’t aware trolling was a crime. The Sydney Morning Herald reports that the local magistrate found that he was the victim of a ‘vast overreaction’ and had already experience a lot of pain, which was the reasoning behind the more lenient sentence.
