However, Bey’s announcement, while glorious, was also pretty confusing. The singer wrote, “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.”

Leaving us to question whether Sir’s name is ‘Sir Carter’ or ‘Sir Carter Carter’ and while we’re at it, whether Rumi even has a last name?!

Thankfully, Bey’s mum, Tina Knowles, has shed some light on the name situation while confirming that the twins are a boy and a girl.

The certificates – obtained by PEOPLE – reveal the Carter twins were born on Tuesday, June 13, at 5:13 a.m. at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The girl, Rumi, arrived first, followed by brother, Sir. Both were delivered by OB/GYN Dr. Paul Crane, who also delivered Kim Kardashian’s children, North and Saint.

Now we wait for more photos of these famous two youngsters.
