Earlier this week it was reported that Emma Watson reportedly earned $3 million for her portrayal of Belle in the live-action remake Beauty And The Beast. But in a brilliant move, the shrewd businesswoman also inked herself a deal which would see her make more depending on how much the film pulls in globally.
Initial reports said she stood to make an extra $15 million, but with the film absolutely smashing it at the box office, that figure has already surged to $19 million.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film has smashed a number of box office records including Top domestic opening of all time for a film rated PG, biggest debut of all time for a female-fueled film and it is the seventh best launch of all time for any movie.

“I think she basically has the world in the palm of her hand,” Liza Anderson, celebrity publicist and founder of Anderson Group Public Relations tells Fox News of Watson.
“She is the biggest star in the world right now. She can star in anything. She could produce. She’s America’s sweetheart and a global sweetheart.”
“There’s no denying that everyone looks to that success,” adds Hollywood casting director Brett Benner.
“She’s never been in want of work, but this will further diminish what she’s known for — Harry Potter,” he said. “I think she will command a higher salary and a lot more things will go to her that she can pick and choose from … This raises her star and it’s more than most actors would dream of making in a lifetime.”
