Ariana Grande’s mother—who was front-row at the singer’s concert at the time of the deadly terror attacks in Manchester—has shared a touching tribute the victims.

Joan Grande tweeted that she has spent the past week “in reflective thought, prayer & deep sorrow”.

“I join my daughter in extending my help & services to all those affected by the diabolical act of terror which occurred in Manchester! My heart goes out to all the victims: those who lost their lives, those injured, those recovering & all survivors of that night, along with the families & friends whose grief knows no bounds,” she wrote. 

“I stand with you all in the face of evil & we stand together to never let it rule our lives!”

In the wake of the devastating Manchester terror attacks, a number of stories have emerged about kind and heroic strangers banding together in the face of tragedy. 

There’s grandmother Paula Robinson, who rescued 50 frightened girls from the scene and took them to a nearby hotel room to wait for their parents. Two homeless men outside the stadium have also been hailed a “heroes” for helping the wounded.

And now it has emerged that Ariana Grande’s mother Joan helped rush fans to safety after the deadly explosion.

TMZ reports that Joan Grande told up to 10 children seated around her to come backstage with her.

She and members of Ariana’s security team ushered the frightened group backstage until it was safe to leave, ABC News adds.

On social media, fans praised the kindness of Joan, who is yet to speak out about the tragedy.
