A British anti-Trump petition is gathering pace with more than 1.6 million signatures so far.
The petition demands that US President Donald be barred from making an official state visit to the UK – and at one point was being signed by more than a thousand people a minute, according to the Guardian.
Despite the groundswell of public opposition it’s unlikely that British Prime Minister Theresa May will withdraw her invitation.
Meanwhile, social media is having a field day digging up Trump’s old Twitter posts – including one that read:
“Who wouldn’t take Kate’s picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing. Come on Kate!”
The tweet referred to the scandal that arose after paparazzi images were taken of the Duchess of Cambridge while she was sunbathing.
