If the rather tame Emmys red carpet left you wanting more glitz and glamour, fear not. The 2019 Brownlow Medal attendees are here to give you all the thigh-high splits, naked dresses and sparkles you could ever wish for. The biggest night in AFL took place on Monday night in Melbourne’s Crown Casino with players being upstaged by their other halves, the wives and girlfriends who are commonly referred to in the industry as WAGs.
Nadia Bartel, who was hosting the evening, was one of the first to arrive wearing a stunning strapless gown by J’Aton Couture. Ben Stratton’s partner Laura Griffin showed off her abs in a Grecian-inspired pink dress, while Samantha Dobbs opted for a lace naked dress.
Brownlow Medal regulars Jesinta and Buddy Franklin, who are expecting their first child, didn’t attend this year’s event and Bec Judd also opted out, despite husband Chris attending solo.
