The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards have kicked off in Sydney for 2019. Australia’s biggest stars in television and film have arrived at The Star in Sydney’s Darling Harbour to celebrate the year that was – bringing their fashion A-game, too.
The prestigious event has honoured screen excellence in Australia for over 60 years and recognises and celebrates the highest achievements in Australian film and television. The peer-assessed awards are the only Australian industry body to honour practitioners across all crafts and industry sectors, including feature film, documentary, short film, television, online, visual effects and animation.
