A fourth-generation mixed-cropping farmer, Corey is already thinking about what the fifth generation might look like, and given family means the world to him, that’s no surprise.

With plans to expand and continue the dream of his grandfather and his father before him, he’s looking to settle down with a like-minded lady who is “open, honest… and can enjoy life on the farm.”

“I’m not here to find a girlfriend, I’m here to find my future wife, and once I do I’ll be loyal to a fault,” says Corey; who wears his heart on his sleeve. “I want a partner who wants to have a family and puts family first.”

So will the young buck be able to find his love match? Here’s what we know about Corey’s Farmer Wants A Wife journey, so far.

He might be a devoted landsman, but there’s more to the young farmer than first meets the eye. “I am a very social bloke,” he admits. “I love going to country music festivals and country race

Despite his young age, Corey is adamant that he’s ready to take the next step with the right person. “I think I’m mature for my age,” he says in his farmer bio. “I’m only 24, but I’m emotionally intelligent and I’m honestly ready for marriage, kids and the whole deal.”

Queensland farmer Corey put his cards on the table declaring almost immediately his intention to find his “soulmate” during the first speed dating exercise.

“I couldn’t stop blushing. I couldn’t stop smiling,” he admitted, before revealing the whole experience made him feel like a “lovesick teenager.”

After a whirlwind series of one-on-one dates, he chose five women to begin his path to partnership with, including a couple of early frontrunners. As the weeks progress, so too does the list of women who’ve left the show.

Of course it’s still early days, so there’s no bets being placed just yet, but if Corey’s first 24-hour date with Keeley is anything to go by then he could be in for a wild ride.

Taking his date night duties very seriously, Corey turned the barn into a blissful retreat with fairy lights and flowers setting the tone for the evening to come. He bonded with the 22-year-old optometrist over childhood chats and stories about their grandparents before Corey admitted it was rare to “fall for someone” who had the same family focus as him.

The night ended with a kiss and Keeley admitting she was already “a little bit smitten,” so it’s safe to say that things are looking good.
